🔑 1. Broken key in the lock

A key breaking off in the lock is a classic problem. It can happen due to wear, a wrong turn or simply too much force.

After a burglary attempt or forced entry, your lock is usually no longer reliable. We repair all damage to the lock, cylinder and hardware:

If the key no longer turns smoothly or keeps getting stuck, it’s often due to a shift in the internal parts or a slightly deformed cylinder. We restore the correct position of the mechanism, check cylinder alignment and ensure the lock responds correctly again.

A door that no longer closes properly doesn’t always have a broken lock. In many cases it’s an alignment issue: the door has dropped, the strike plate is no longer in the right position or the hinges have loosened.

We carry out a precise adjustment of the door, hinges and strike plate so the door closes smoothly again and the latch falls perfectly into place. This completely solves issues like “door won’t close properly” or “latch no longer engages in the strike plate”.

A lock that moves, or a cylinder that turns with the key, is usually caused by loose fixings or wear of internal parts. We disassemble the lock, reinforce the fixings and reassemble the unit. After this repair, the lock feels solid and reliable again.

Exterior locks and garage locks are exposed daily to rain, wind and temperature changes. Expansion and contraction can cause internal parts to seize or bend.

   In emergency situations we first inform you of the price before a locksmith, usually within 20–30 minutes, comes to you. We are available 24/7!
2. Quote
   We prepare a quote after we have identified the problem and the best solution. Sometimes a visit from a locksmith is needed to assess this on site.
3. Appointment
   Once you agree with the quote, we schedule a suitable time to carry out the work. You receive a confirmation of the appointment.
4. Intervention
   The technician comes on site and performs the necessary work. The duration depends on the service: for example, around 5 minutes for a simple door opening and about 40 minutes for a lock replacement.
5. Payment
   After the work is completed, you pay on site by card or in cash. The price is exactly as stated in the quote — no surprises. An invoice can be provided afterwards if desired.
