Locksmith Lucas respects the privacy of its customers, in particular their rights regarding the automated processing of personal data. In the interest of full transparency, we have therefore formulated and implemented a policy concerning these processing activities, their purposes, and the options available to data subjects to exercise their rights as effectively as possible.

The privacy policy made available to you is the only version applicable, until a new version replaces the current one.

Article 2 – Processing of personal data

Your personal data are collected by Locksmith Lucas. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

We process the following categories of personal data about you:

  • Email address(es) / phone number(s)

Article 3 – Purpose of the processing

We do not collect your personal data without reason. Your personal data are processed for:

  • Providing better service to you
  • Maintaining relationships with you
  • Processing your orders/requests

Article 4 – Registration of personal data

Your personal data are recorded in an (electronic) register.

Article 5 – Legal obligations

In the event of a breach of any law or regulation of which the data subject is suspected and for which the authorities require personal data held by the Controller, such data will be provided to them following an explicit and reasoned request by those authorities. From that moment, these personal data will no longer fall under the protection of this privacy statement.

Article 6 – Retention period for data

The data collected by the Controller are used and stored for the period prescribed by law.

Article 7 – Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of the district where the Controller is established have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any disputes regarding these terms, unless a statutory exception applies.
